A Night out for Luca
Craft & Co, 390 Smith St, Collingwood
What an absolutely amazing night our third major fundraising event for the Luca Miraglia Foundation was! The Craft & Co was filled with friends, family and supporters from such a diverse range of backgrounds, all happy, laughing and sharing a common cause in supporting “A Night Out for Luca.”
Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, sponsors and donors, the event raised over $25,000 and achieved our aim of supporting a neonatal intensive care cot at the Royal Children’s Hospital.
Dr Rod Hunt, Director of Neonatal Medicine at the Royal Children’s Hospital gave a moving speech about caring for Luca as a baby and thanked attendees for their support.
“I want to thank you on behalf of the Children’s Hospital and on the behalf of the Newborn Intensive Care Unit, for supporting the Luca Miraglia Foundation. “
– Dr Rod Hunt, Director of Neonatal Medicine at the Royal Children’s Hospital
In addition to the NICU cot, funds raised will go towards Luca’s ongoing behavioural therapy, education and inclusion support, hearing and medical expenses. These interventions help Luca to work through his challenges, achieving excellent results and allowing him to take an active part in an increasing number of community and social experiences.

A massive thank you to everyone that came and those that supported what was a very, very special night – one to remember xx
